(5/5) i purchased a too good to go box from this place after seeing all the great reviews online. they gave me so much stuff. omg. the employees were also super kind, and the bag was so heavy it was actually hard to carry. inside there was:3 panini 1 big biscuit filled with jam 1 raisin bun with brunost 1 puff pastry with ham 1 jam and cream bun 1 apple pastry 2 big chocolate chip buns 1 plain bun 1 cinnamon bun 1 cardamom bun 2 donuts 5 mini donutsi had an absolute feast later and even had leftovers for the next day. the quality was still excellent. amazing bakery. definitely worth the hype!

(5/5) We went in the early morning and everything was fresh and still warm. Very cheap for central Oslo and very tasty! Highly recommend it if you're stuck for ideas or need a quick snack.

(5/5) Best cinnamon bun I've ever had!!! Their selection was unbelievable - a choice of so many pastries and cakes, it was so hard to choose. Which I'd brought the whole shop 😄 but definitely recommend trying the cinnamon bun. Freshly baked, perfect crisp outer and soft doughy inner with a warmth softness to it and also I'm pretty sure had a chocolately/nutella like filling in parts of the inside.

(5/5) Brilliant. Taking into account value for money it was the best food we had all weekend. Reasonable range of pastries, pizza, and buns. Fresh juices as well as coffee. All had good flavours. My muffin was very soft, with a gooey centre. I would highly recommend.

(5/5) My friend and I came in here a few times for breakfast while we were in Oslo. Everything we tried was delicious, the cinnamon buns were definitely top of our list, followed by the custard and coconut buns! Staff were friendly although occasionally you need to wait at the counter for a minute while they finish putting things in ovens or on the shelves. Not really an issue for us.

(5/5) Possibly the best bang for your buck in the city. Their baguettes in particular are everything you'd hope for; filling (more than enough), spicy (if you're getting any of the spicy ones) and delicious. Ingredients seem to be of quality across the board. I am slowly working my way through their offerings, and I can only say that I am eager for it. As someone living in Oslo, I highly recommend this place. Staff is also super friendly. I have not stayed to eat, so I can't say anything for the atmosphere.[I was first introduced to this place by TGTG.]

(5/5) SO delicious. After driving around rural Norway for 6 days and having our best cookie option be supermarket Oreos, it felt SO good to go inside and see a huge variety of selection of treats. They're baked goods are pretty sweet for a European bakery but there were exactly what I was looking for. We got a milk chocolate chip cookie, a mini cinnamon roll, a vanilla cream bun and a macaron and everything was really really good. They definitely have a wider selection than most of the bakeries we've seen in the city.

(5/5) While this place MAY not have THE most delicious upper-class gourmet stuff you may find at places 2-3 times as expensive, they offer excellent coffee and very tasty pastries, buns and cookies. The staff is always super friendly and attentive. On my last visit the attendant even asked me if I wanted some water on the side with my coffee! 😃 This place can not be beat when it comes to value-for-money! Highly recommended!

(1/5) Må melde fra om en svært dårlig opplevelse hos Bake Me Up på Grensen. Jeg var innom den 05.12.2025 kl. 06:37. Både på døren og på nettsiden står det at åpningstidene på hverdager er 06:30–20:00.Da jeg kom ble jeg møtt av en ansatt (blond, relativt høy) som holdt på å fylle på bakervarer. Hun opptrådte dessverre både frekt og uprofesjonelt i kommunikasjonen sin. Opplevelsen var så ubehagelig at jeg valgte å avstå fra å handle, og dette blir sannsynligvis mitt siste besøk hos dere.Hvis man ikke trives i jobben, eller har en dårlig dag, bør dette ikke gå utover kundene. Jeg håper dere tar dette videre slik at andre kunder ikke opplever det samme. Dere fortjener null stjerne i kundeservice

(1/5) Jeg var der sammen med venninna mi da dette skjedde. Vi kom rundt klokka 20:30 og spurte hun som jobba der (hun med brunt hår) om når de hadde 50 % av. Hun sa klokka 21:00, så vi bestemte oss for å vente en halvtime. Vi kom tilbake litt før 21:00, hun samme dama stod i kassa og sa ingenting da vi kjøpte varene. Det ble 78 kr for tre ting, og vi syntes det virka litt rart, men tenkte kanskje det stemte med rabatten. Ikke ett minutt senere kommer venninna mi tilbake og spør om det faktisk var 50 % av. Da sier hun plutselig «nei, det er ikke før om 30 minutter til». Hæ? Så nå er det plutselig klokka 21:30 dere har 50 % av? Vi ble helt forvirra, for dette var den samme personen som nettopp hadde sagt klokka 21:00. Da venninna mi spør om hun kan få pengene tilbake, siden det hadde gått maks tre minutter, sier hun at hun må spørre sjefen. Greit nok. Men så kommer hun tilbake og spør om vi har kvitteringen (som vi ikke hadde fått med oss ennå), og så endrer hun plutselig forklaringa og sier at de uansett ikke kan ta det tilbake på grunn av hygiene. Sjefen kommer så bort, men før det ser hey at sjefen ruller med øynene og sukker før hun går mot oss. Når sjefen snakker med oss, sier hun: «Du hadde ikke fått pengene tilbake hvis du var i en restaurant heller.» Og måten de snakket til oss på var bare unødvendig frekk og nedlatende. Det var fire–fem stykker bak kassa som sto og glodde på oss som om vi var dumme. Vi skjønner greia med hygiene, men hele situasjonen hadde vært unngått om de bare hadde gitt riktig informasjon i utgangspunktet, og behandlet oss med litt respekt.

Men så kommer hun tilbake også spør hun meg om jeg har kvitteringen? Nei…også plutselig så switcher hun det, også sier hun uansett så kan vi ikke ta det tilbake på grunn av hygiene…også kommer sjefen sier det samme. Før sjefen kommer til oss personlig og snakker med oss, ser en av vennene mine at hun ruler øynene sine og kommer til oss. Så sier hun « du hadde ikke fått pengene dine tilbake hvis du var i en restaurant heller». Hvis vi ikke hadde fått feil informasjon hadde ingenting av dette skjedd, men bare hvordan de snakke med oss med sånne småe frekke tilbakemeldinger er så unødvendig. Jeg er forståelig på grunn av hygiene delen men 5-4 stykk som står bak kassa og bare stirrer på oss som om vi er dumme er sykt. Kanskje fortel oss riktig informasjon først.
